About See Something, Say Something
“If You See Something, Say Something®” is a national campaign that raises public awareness of the signs of terrorism and terrorism-related crime, and how to report suspicious activity to state and local law enforcement. “If You See Something, Say Something®” is more than just a slogan; we all play a role in keeping our communities safe.
About SeeSayDay
September 25 is as “If You See Something, Say Something®” Awareness Day, also known as #SeeSayDay. On this day, DHS and its campaign partners across the country come together to remind the public to be aware of suspicious activity and how to report suspected activity to local authorities.
For #SeeSayDay 2024, DHS encourages the public to "Spot the Signs. Report the Activity". On September 25 and year-round, stay prepared to spot the signs, report suspicious activity to local authorities, and help prevent terrorism-related crime.
The design for this campaign’s look & feel draws on the color scheme and style of illustrating people that I developed for the See Something, Say Something Evergreen Campaign, which unfortunately was never launched, but I am proud to have been the starting point for this design and a contributor to its execution. Senior designer Susie Dobberpuhl took the look & feel and ran beautifully with it, and she illustrated the people that are seen across this campaign.
