When INK Magazine asked me to make a comprehensive calendar of upcoming fall events in Kansas City, I knew I wanted to show some KC pride by incorporating landmarks of our fair city while also staying away from typical colors used to represent the area - namely the colors of the local sports teams. When I had finished, they liked the calendar so much they asked me to do the cover, too.
